Pavements and kerb lines
Work on the public pavement and along the kerb line at the road edge.
New tarmac across a pavement
One job, start to finish: the pavement dug out with a mini digger, then new tarmac laid up to the kerb line.
Tarmac along a kerb line
Raked out between a block-paved drive and the kerb with the barriers up, then rolled.
More footway and road-edge work
Other jobs on footways and at the edge of the road.
Tarmac driveways
Where we have several photos of one drive, they sit together, in order. The rest are grouped by stage.
A tarmac drive, base to finish
One drive, in order: the stone sub-base spread over the dug-out ground, a channel drain along the house, then the finished tarmac edged in block paving.

Three views of one finished drive: block edging at the pavement, a channel drain along the house, and the frontage from across the road.
Digging out and edging
The old ground comes out, then the edging goes in along the sides.
